RMS200001: How to enable PolMerge tracing files

ENGLISH VERSION

*** Preparation: ***

  1. Please copy the attached Reporter Folder into your Managesoft Installation directory
  2. Please create the following folder structure C:\tmp\trace.  In the case that RMS was installed on a different drive please create the folder structure there as well.
  3. [OPTIONAL] Install SpyStudio x86 (http://www.nektra.com/products/spystudio-api-monitor/download/) [this is a commercial third-party product] 

*** Log-Creation: ***

  1. [OPTIONAL, with SpyStudio] Go to Analysis > Execution Parameters and Execute the following command "<ManageSoft-InstallDir>\Reporter\polmerge.exe -R -a" (see attached RMS200001_img001) and save the results via File > Save Log.
  2. Execute the following from the command-line "<ManageSoft-InstallDir>\Reporter\polmerge.exe -R -a -V5 > C:\ManageSoftPolmerge.log" 
  3. Please send the following to Raynet for analysis:
    • All files in folder C:\tmp\trace and all folders created under Preperation point (2) (see above)
    • [OPTIONAL] The SpyStudio logfile (*.spy) created during step (1).

 

 

GERMAN VERSION

*** Vorbereitung: ***

  1. Bitte kopieren Sie den im Anhang bereitgestellten Reporter Ordner in das Managesoft Installationsverzeichnis.
  2. Erzeugen Sie bitte folgende Ordner-Struktur: C:\tmp\trace. In dem Fall das RMS auf einem anderen Laufwerk installiert wurde, erzeugen sie diesen Ordner auch auf diesem Laufwerk.
  3. [OPTIONAL] Installieren sie SpyStudio x86 (http://www.nektra.com/products/spystudio-api-monitor/download/) [hierbei handelt es sich um kommerzielles Produkt eines Drittanbieters]

*** Log-Erstellung: ***

  1. [OPTIONAL, mit SpyStudio] Rufen Sie bitte folgendes Kommando unter Analysis > Execution Parameters auf"<ManageSoft-InstallDir>\Reporter\polmerge.exe -R -a" (siehe Abbildung) und speichern sie das Ergebnis File > Save Log.
  2. Rufen Sie bitte von der Kommandozeile"<ManageSoft-InstallDir>\Reporter\polmerge.exe -R -a -V5 > C:\ManageSoftPolmerge.log" auf
  3. Bitte senden sie uns folgende Logfiles zu:
    • Alle Dateien im Verzeichnis C:\tmp\trace und den Schwesterverzeichnissen auf den anderen Laufwerken.
    • [OPTIONAL] Das SpyStudio Logfile (*.spy) das unter Punkt (1) erzeugt wurde.
