Q210355: Problem with MgsDHCP in Selector Algorithm on Windows 7 & Windows Server 2008 R2

Symptoms

There is an issue when using the MgsDHCP method in the Selector Algorithm used to determine which Distribution Server is used to up-/download files with on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

Cause

This is a problem that Microsoft has identified within these versions of Windows themselves where the DhcpRequestParams function does not retrieve configuration settings from a DHCP server.
