Summary
When running a zero touch inventory from a server that has ManageSoft for administration servers 7.6 andManageSoft for managed devices 7.6 installed, there is a problem if ManageSoft Security Manager 7.7 is installed on the managed device.
If you run a zero touch inventory from a server that has ManageSoft for administration servers 7.6 and ManageSoft for managed devices 7.6 installed, and ManageSoft Security Manager 7.7 is installed on the managed device:
- Ports get disabled so you cannot access hardware devices, such as the floppy drive or CD-ROM
- ManageSoft crashes after reporting an error with a pure virtual function.
This problem occurs if MBSA (version 1.2 or 2.0) is installed on the managed device that is running ManageSoft Security Manager 7.7.
The issue with the blocked ports has been fixed in ManageSoft Security Manager 7.7.1.
To fix the crash, you need to upgrade the administration server's managed device installation to ManageSoft Security Manager 7.7.1.
