M100702: ManageSoft Security Manager application blocking and IIS conflicts

This article explains application blocking restrictions on managed devices with IIS installed.

ManageSoft Security Manager release 7.7 introduces application blocking on managed devices. This is implemented using the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\AppInit_DLL registry key, which conflicts with IIS in some configurations.

As a result, application blocking will not be enabled on managed devices with IIS installed.
