RVY200726 - Multi-Domain-Support in RVS 12.0

Introduction

In RayVentory Server 11.4 multi domain support was set in the Registry Path 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ManageSoftCorp\ManageSoft\Reporter\CurrentVersion

with the values:

UseDCFromHostName = True/False

and

UseDCFromUserDomain = True/False

These keys needed to be set as true or false respectively to set the desired state.

In RayVentory Server 12.2 these keys do not exist anymore. Since RVS 12.0 multi domain is not supported out of the box.

Solution

To solve this behavior please add the keys: 

UseDCFromHostName

and

UseDCFromUserDomain

manually in the registry path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ManageSoftCorp\ManageSoft\Reporter\CurrentVersion

and set both values to "True"
