Runner RviaDataService - Collision with RVSE HTTP service

Raynet One offers service infrastructure for operating the RayVentory Inventory Agent (RVIA).

The RayVentory Inventory Agent Infrastructure (RIAI) service is supposed to replace the RayVentory Scan Engine’s (RVSE) services for RVIA. The RIAI service is run by the Raynet One Runner. A host for a runner should not have RVSE installed or run RVSE’s service for RVIA.

The RIAI service uses by default the port 591 just as RVSE’s service for RVIA does. Using the same port for both services will cause the service to fail. If you want to run both or even more such services at once, then you have to choose an unoccupied port during setup of the RIAI service. Raynet One will not check for a port collision.
