RPK200884: Known Issue: RayPack Exclusion Filter Greyed Out in PackLayering with Client-Server Architecture

Affected Version: RayPack 7.3 

Issue:

After selecting the RayPack exclusions, it is not possible to proceed to the next page of the exclusion wizard. The RayPack exclusions are greyed out. This occurs when PackLayering is started from a share and the client is missing the RayPack registry entry. [CIT-302]

Solution:

Adjusting values in the raypack.reg file:

• Open the file in a text editor such as Notepad
• Update the values of PackPointDir, PackPointVersion
• Set correct path to RayPack location in InstallDir value

Import the .reg file:

• Right-click the raypack.reg file.
• Select "Merge" from the context menu. (Open in Windows11)
• If prompted by User Account Control, click "Yes" to allow the changes to be made.
