For a detailed release information and full list of new features, improvements and resolved issues refer to the Release Notes document.

Date Published: 2019-May
Requirements: Refer to the Release Notes document for Hardware and Software requirements
Applies to Version(s): -
Obsoletes: RayVentory Portal 11.1 and earlier
Restrictions/Known Issues:
  • RVP-7: The device multi-selection sometimes shows incorrect summary values in the sidebar. There is no known workaround for this UI issue.
  • RVP-199: In the Discovery Wizard the tiles do not change their state based on enabled / disabled inventory methods.
  • RVP-200: The text label in the Oracle tnsnames.ora import wizard incorrectly refers to a CSV file.
  • RVP-201: If the Oracle import did not finish with a 100% success, the Oracle view might not refresh automatically.
  • RVP-202: In some environments, the scope values might differ between remote execution and zero-touch execution. This topic will be addressed in a hotfix.
  • RVP-203: The vSphere scanner might produce XML files where the parameter names have no value. This makes it difficult to import these files into a RMS / RayVentory Server. This is going to be addressed in separate hotfixes for RayVentory Portal and RayManageSoft.
  • RVP-205: The NDI Viewer does not show the correct file names for NDI files with the file scan enabled. This is only a UI issue.
  • RVP-208: Icons of recent scans in the Dashboard are the same regardless of the actual device type.
  • RVP-209: Computation of the next runtime of a recurring monthly schedule might be incorrect until the first manual execution.
  • RVP-211: Columns in the Inventory Wizard are not resizable.
  • RVP-213: In some scenarios, if a custom encryption is used, the upgrade may work incorrectly with the details already being encrypted. A workaround which can be used to reencrypt the data before starting RVP 11.2 can be provided by our consultants.
  • RVP-214: Sometimes the OK and Apply buttons in the SSH Credentials editor work unpredictable.
  • RVP-220: On some non-English operating systems, the HTTP server might fail due to the unknown group Everyone.
Installation Instructions: Detailed instructions for the installation can be found in the RayVentory Portal User Guide.
